Pond Monkeys' 4th appearance at The Boobie Trap started a bit later than anticipated.  With Derek wandering the outskirts of Topeka (lost) just moments before showtime, the rest of the band members prepared themselves for what was looking to be quite an awkward set.  While Daniel and Alex discussed a tentative setlist of old originals and covers that could be handled by the three remaining members, several friends (thanks, Kyle, Caroline and Trotter) attempted to guide Derek to The Boobie Trap via cellphone.

Just as Alex, Austin and Daniel began to take the stage for what was bound to be an embarrassing performance of Weezer and Green Day covers, Derek entered the venue amidst a blur of smoke, laser lights and thumping techno music--just in time to save the day.

Along with Pond Monkeys, Sophomore, fresh off a jaunt on the Taste Of Chaos Tour, and area-favorites Another Roadside Attraction rocked the house.
